I found myself in a legal situation that I never, ever thought I’d be in. I initially called an attorney I know but found out he was retiring so he referred me to the Chartier & Nyamfukudza firm. I initially talked to Mary Chartier and she didn’t believe I had done anything wrong but the system was failing me. Guilty until proven innocent is how I felt. I have never been under so much stress. I then talked and met with Takura Nyamfukudza who ended up being my attorney. Takura had a hand in handling issues and reviewing my file along the way. I entered into an agreement with C&N of what’s called the precharge stage. Because of his hard work and compassion and understanding, my stress level did go down, and my situation ended up having no charges against me. Takura was on it every step of the way and I can’t thank him enough. That phone call and e-mail that said it was over and no charges brought was the best news ever. And I can proudly say that I can spell and pronounce Takura’s name now!
