Takura Nyamfukudza Earns a Felony Dismissal

Takura Nyamfukudza earned a hard-fought victory with the dismissal of a felonious assault charge for a client. The client said that he was actually the victim and he had taped the complaining witness making certain statements on the night in question. Takura was able to ask the right questions at the preliminary examination to contrast those with the taped comments and convince the prosecutor to dismiss the case. Because the complainant lied on the stand so blatantly, she is now going to be charged herself. We're thrilled that Takura fought so hard for a man wrongly accused!
