Takura Nyamfukudza to Speak to the Michigan Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights

Takura Nyamfukudza will be presenting at a conference sponsored by the Michigan Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights on the intersection between criminal law and immigration law. Takura will be focusing on the importance of thoroughly interviewing the client and learning the immigration consequences of criminal convictions. He will explain the plea process in state courts and the critical nature of advising clients of their Padilla rights.
