C&N Featured on the President’s Page in the July 2018 Issue of the Michigan Bar Journal

Chartier & Nyamfukudza is proud to announce that a case near and dear to our hearts was featured on the President’s Page in the July 2018 issue of the Michigan Bar Journal! The case of People v Tomasik was a case fought for over ten long years. It moved through several stages of appeal between the Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court and was tirelessly fought by Marty and Kris Tieber, who succeeded in getting Mr. Tomasik a retrial. At that stage, the Tiebers handed over the reins to our team. After thorough research and much preparation, we fought the good fight in a multi-week trial, and after 19 minutes of deliberation, the jury found Mr. Tomasik not guilty on all counts!

We would like to thank State Bar of Michigan President Donald G. Rockwell for shining a light on this story!
