Takura at Face of Justice

On October 25, attorney Takura Nyamfukudza participated in the “Face of Justice” program at the Michigan Supreme Court Learning Center.

With a panel presentation, “jet” mentoring, and networking sessions, the “Face of Justice” program gives area high school students a unique opportunity to learn more about the different facets of the legal profession.

One of the students wrote of Takura’s presence at the event:

I didn't know which I wanted to do. Today, however, helped me decide that. Hearing you speak made me fall instantly in love with being a criminal justice attorney. I feel like they already get a bad enough rep for doing the crime and don't get a fair shot in the courtroom. I want to change that. I would love to know more about the job and any programs that you know about to help further my education on the subject.

It's clear by this student’s remarks that Takura’s passion for criminal defense work is infectious and inspiring!

Cheers to a job well done!
