Mary Chartier Wins a Dismissal Under the Michigan Medical Marijuana Act

Mary Chartier won a dismissal under the Michigan Medical Marijuana Act (MMA) based on Section 4 of the statute. The issue was whether a registered patient – who was medicating in the passenger seat of his parked car in a parking lot – was protected under the MMA. A court ruled that he was because the car was not a “public place.” This is another great victory for patients in Michigan!
